AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS
NATIONAL PARKS
All amendments will attract a R50.00 fee
OTHER
A minimum of R50.00 per booking will be charged for changes/amendments made within 1 month prior to travel
AMENDMENTS WHEN TRAVELLING – NATIONAL PARKSOnce you have checked into your accommodation you are unable to make any changes. If you wish to change accommodation / camp, please inquire at reception PRIOR to booking in. If an amendment is made while in the Park, you will be held liable for all cancellation and amendment fees.
CANCELLATION CLAUSES
LAND ARRANGEMENTS
If cancelling any booking or part thereof up to 6 weeks prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited.
If cancelling any bookings or part thereof between 6 weeks and 1 month there is a 50% cancellation fee.
If cancelling any bookings or part thereof within 1 month of arrival, there is a 100% cancellation fee.FLIGHTS
There is a 25% cancellation fee for discounted tickets plus R90.00 per ticket.
Normal economy class tickets (i.e. no discounts) have an administration fee of R120.00 per ticket.CAR HIRE
There is a cancellation fee of 1 day's rental.
SA NATIONAL PARKS
The SA National Parks charge full cancellation fees on any amendment done within the 30 day cancellation period if the amendment is of a lesser value than the original booking.
No charge for cancellation 31 days and more before arrival date.
50% of total cost for cancellations between 30 – 15 days arrival date
100% of the total cost for cancellation between 14 – 0 days and on arrival date
100% of the total cost for any non-arrival
MALARIA
Guests are recommended to take malaria precautions when going into a malaria area.

MEDICAL AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly advised. You should be covered in the event of cancellation or curtailment, death, any medical or rescue expenses, as well as for any loss of baggage, money or personal items.
Zimbabwe is excluded for cancellation & curtailment cover.
PAYMENT
SA NATIONAL PARKS
Full payment is required 31 days and 1 week prior to arrival date. Bookings made within the 30-day period must be paid within 24 hours of confirmation.
NATIONAL PARK TRAILS
Trails are payable 3-months prior to travel date.
OTHER
Once reservations have been confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to hold reservations. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to arrival and 45 days for groups.
Rates quoted in foreign currency (e.g. USD) will be converted into ZAR at the applicable exchange rate at the time of payment.
Variable rates e.g. airfares, conservation levies, etc., are subject to change without prior notification.
Important Notes
Do not email your credit card details over the Internet as this could result in fraud beyond our control.
Kindly refrain from depositing CASH, as it attracts banking fees, which will be for you own account.
Telegraphic Transfers: you are responsible for all the bank levies, which are to be advised by your bank.
TIPPING/GRATUITIES
Tipping / gratuities are not included in the cost of your safari/tour. You are welcome to tender small amounts to the staff & guides.
The average acceptable gratuity is 10% for services rendered.
VISAS
Please ensure that you have the correct visas for the countries you are visiting.
You are required to have a minimum of two blank pages in your passport to enable the entry visa into South Africa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport, entry will be denied and you are likely to be detained pending return to your country of origin.
VOUCHERS
On receipt of your full payment, a detailed itinerary shall be provided electronically, with vouchers, directions and what to see and do in areas being explored.
SA NATIONAL PARKS
On receipt of your full payment, the final confirmation and vouchers will be provided electronically.

The booking is an eventual contract between the client and TOURSA and shall be deemed to be concluded in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa; and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In the event of any action hereunder, the Supreme Court of South Africa (Cape Town Local Division) shall have jurisdiction in regard thereto, not-with-standing that the amount of the claim may be within the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court.
